The 2025 New York Dot Com Airshow Photo Scrapbook

Photos by Bob Finch and Scott Zeno
The 2025 New York Dot Com Airshow had one day of perfect, clear weather and another day of overcast skies, but the show went on regardless of the background. Held at and overhead the Orange County Airport in Montgomery, New York, the scenic background of gently rolling hills added to the visual spectacle of the flying.

Flight appearances by the Air Force’s F-22 Raptor Demo Team, a flight demonstration by a Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey, flybys from a New York Air National Guard C-17A Globemaster III from nearby Stewart International Airport, and the West Point Parachute Team and Lakota helicopter (called the Black Knights) were military participants this year.

Another U. S. military operator in the flight program was a NORAD (North American Air Defense) flight display recreating an errant pilot flying in/near restricted airspace, and the actions that would be taken during an intercept. A South Carolina ANG F-16 worked with a Piper Navajo twin prop airplane to show the maneuvers done to gain attention and move the intruder away.

An Air Force Heritage Flight with the F-22 Raptor and “Bald Eagle, a P-51, performed their moving tribute to veterans. The Mustang then performed a flying routine.

Panchito, the almost-locally based B-25 Mitchell bomber presented its fantastically photographic routine, and a C-47 transport and T-6 Texan trainer provided more warbird action, both flew from the field which was too short for most of the other aerial performers.

Mark Meredith also operated from the airport in his much-modified DHC Chipmunk, presenting an energetic flying routine and gave chase to the CyberTruck down the Orange County runway.

Here’s what photographers Bob Finch and Scott Zeno saw during the weekend show, enjoy!
