Boeing B-747-100/-200 Photo Scrapbook, Part 2
Photos by Scott Jankowski
Adding to the first photo scrapbook of Boeing B-747-100 and -200 series jumbo jets, here are more photos from the collections of Scott Jankowski. Almost all of the early -100 and -200 series jets have been retired by 2025, replaced by the newer B-747-400s and -8s. Larger twin engined transports have also replaced older 4-engine jets for economic reasons.

Very few of the airline companies shown here have ceased operations… but Tower Air went out of business in the year 2000 and Evergreen Airlines ceased operations in 2013. Northwest (Orient) Airlines – an early -100 user – merged with Delta Airlines in 2010. Almost all of the other airlines went on to operate later B-747 versions.
