Retired Non-U. S. Military Helicopter Types – A Scrapbook

Westland Wessex HC2, Royal Air Force, retired in 1998
Photos by Ken Kula
Here are sixteen photos of non-U.S. military helicopter types that have been retired from service over the past half century, with captions containing the country and year the type was generally retired. There might have been a few airframes still active in support roles after that year, but the type’s widespread retirement is noted here. The types may still be in service with other countries, but not with the user in these photos.
Please return to these pages periodically, as we’ll have a few more collections of retired military helicopters in U. S. services too.
