The 22nd Annual Apple Valley Airshow and NAPA Car/Motorcycle Show is in the books. With the crowd estimated at approximately 20,000 spectators, Apple Valley and it’s organizer Susie Newman-Harris did not disappoint. Spectators and participants travelled from all over Southern California to attend and participate in the show. There was plenty of new and vintage aircraft, muscle cars and motorcycles to see, including Polish.

This year’s headliners include world-renowned pilots flying vintage jets such as Jason Somes in the red Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG 17, Vicky Benzing in her “Plum Crazy” P-51 Mustang and Stephanie Goetz in the “Pink Strong” L-39 jet. Elite pilots dazzled thousands as they pushed airplanes of all shapes and sizes to their limits over the High Desert during the 22nd Apple Valley Airshow.

From paratroopers and aerobatic screaming jets, to vintage military aircraft, more than a dozen high-flying performers and teams took turns drawing cheers from the crowd for five hours on Saturday. Meanwhile, dozens more diverse aircraft were on display on the ground, as well as more than 100 vintage vehicles taking part in the car show.

Some other exciting flying demonstrations were Brad Wursten, Torrey Ward in his Micro Jet, Rob Harrison in Tumbling Bear and Undaunted Airshows. These aerial demonstrations did not disappoint the spectators.

Southern California has long been a significant hub in the American aviation industry, according to Newman Harris. And the industry has been expanding into the High Desert year by year.

The 2025 Apple Valley Airshow was an unforgettable event that brought together aviation enthusiasts and families for a day filled with thrilling aerial displays and community spirit. On the ground, the airshow offered a wealth of activities for attendees. Families enjoyed interactive exhibits, where they could learn about aviation history and even meet pilots. The vendors provided delicious food options, making it easy to refuel while enjoying the festivities.

The Apple Valley Airshow was a resounding success and gets better every year. It was a perfect day of fun and excitement for aviation lovers and families alike, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating next year’s event.
