SPOTTING BUISNESS JETS AND PROPS AT MITCHELL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

In part 3 and the final article in this 3-part series we are going to take a look at the Business Jets, Business Props, and other Charter aircraft that have visited Milwaukee recently. We have 3 Fixed Base Operators (FBO’s) on the field, Signature Flight Support, Avflight and Jet Aviation. Avflight and Signature will handle the larger aircraft while Jet Aviation is primarily all smaller jets and props.
Cessna Citations are one of the more common visitors to Milwaukee due to the fact that Cessna/Beechcraft by Textron INC. has a maintenance base here. A wide variety of models stop by including a CJ3 operated by Capital City Jet Center,

A CJ4 operated by Jet Out and is based at Milwaukee.

A Cessna 560 Encore operated by STA Jets.

A Canadian registered Citation Ultra operated by Cartwright Air.

Citation Excel operated by Unified Air Solutions LLC.

A 680 Sovereign Plus operated by Charter Airplane Holdings.

Here we have a Citation Longitude operated by Net Jets.

Lastly, we have three Citation 10’s operated by Charter Air and Wheels Up.
Gulfstream Business Jets are common visitors to Milwaukee as well with several different types represented, Here we have a pair of Gulfstream 280’s operated by Penske and Rite Hite Corporation.
This all-grey Gulfstream GIII is operated by Phoenix Air Group.

Here we have a pair of Gulfstream GIV’s operated by Trans Executive Air Services, Execu Flight.
Next, we have another pair of Gulfstream GIV-X’s from JmJmac Holdings and from Flexjet.
Here we have a Gulfstream V operated by Executive Jet Management.

The next trio of aircraft are Gulfstream V-SP’s operated by Wiedner Property Management, Johnson Controls and Rite Hite Corporation.
Here we have a Gulfstream GVII-G500 operated by Eric Holdings IV LLC.

Lastly, we have A Gulfstream GVII-G600 operated by CIGNA Healthcare.

Hawker by Beechcraft type aircraft make appearances from time to time. Here we have a Hawker 750 operated by SC Aviation.

Also seen is a Hawker 900XP operated by STA Jets.

Bombardier Aerospace is well represented with several different types seen. First, we have a trio of Challenger 300’s operated by Wheels Up, Vista America, and Airlynner LLC.
Here we have a Challenger 350 operated by N317LF LLC.

This German registered GLEX operated by FAI Rent a Jet is seen on the Jet Aviation ramp.

The next group of aircraft are Global 6000’s from Lion Sky Aviation, JSV Leasing and the aircraft that former professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal uses.
Here is a Global 7500 operated by NetJets.

The final three aircraft are Bombardier Lear Jets; welcome visitor was the Lear 35A operated by Golden Jet Ambulance of Mexico seen taxiing to the International Arrivals Building to clear Customs.

And a pair of Lear 60’s operated by American Jet International and Hop A Jet.
French manufacturer Dassault Aviation manufactures the Falcon Jet line of business jets. Here is a Falcon 20 operated by Kalitta Charters.

A Falcon 50 operated by Grayton Leasing.

Here is a Falcon 7X operated by Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance company.

A Falcon 900X operated by MJB Trimotor.

Finally, Falcon 2000 is operated by Bogey LLC.

Embraer business jets make routine stops at Milwaukee. Here we see a pair of Phenom 300’s operated by Darana Aviation Services LLC and NetJets.
An E-550 Preator 600 owned by the Bank of Utah.

And a Legacy 600 operated by Continental 678 Fund.

Slate Aviation flies the Mitsubishi CRJ series of aircraft on high profile charters. Here we have a CRJ-100SE.

Also seen is a CRJ-200ER in an alternate color scheme.

Contour Airlines also operates high profile charters and college sports charters also with the Mitsubishi CRJ-200. Here we have a CRJ-200LR taxing to the Signature Ramp.

Bermuda based Freedom II operates a Boeing 757-23N, which is seen here taxiing to the International Arrivals Building to clear U.S. Customs.

NASCAR holds races at the Milwaukee Mile Racetrack, located at the Wisconsin State Fair Park and uses a variety of airlines to transport members of the racing team. Victory Air is one such airline which uses a fleet of Embraer EMB-145LR’s, one of which is seen here taxiing to the Avflight Ramp.

Champion Air also flies the Embraer EMB-145EP also seen taxiing to the Avflight Ramp.

Turboprop powered aircraft can also be seen in the form of this Beechcraft King Air 200 operated by Vermeer Midwest.

Also seen is a Swiss built Pilatus PC-12 operated by Plane Sense.

Milwaukee has a wide variety of traffic and interesting movements to spot and photograph. If you are ever in the area, it is worth a visit, we will never be the busiest, but we do make up for it with the variety of traffic. Until next time, “Blue Skies To All!”
