Tactical Weapon Meet at Florennes AB/Belgium 2017
The Tactical Weapon Meet was organized by the 1st Squadron of the Belgium Air Force. Nowadays, the 1st Squadron is part of the 2nd Wing and based at Florennes, in the Ardennes in the south of Belgium.
The Squadron celebrates its 100th anniversary this year and the Tactical Weapon Meet was part of all the celebrations which it organized. The TWM 2017 lasted two weeks, and included different Air Defense Fighters from Europe. Participants flew together or against each other in various missions, and on the 15th of June it organized a Spotters Day, drawing over 700 enthusiasts who attended the event.
